The Sales Engineer works in a competitive environment and requires frequent use and application of technical and commercial knowledge. The incumbent also works in a dynamic market place comprises of customers with diverse cultures and multiple personalities. It is thus important for the incumbent to possess not only good technical knowledge and skills, but also to be cultural sensitive and possess the skills to manage a complex mix of customers with various needs and expectations. The person has a role in helping to increase the Company’s market position as well as helps build customer loyalty
Job Descriptions:
- Provide technical support in conjunction with the sales teams to customers, partners and internal staff.
- Assist in the preparation of quotations & tender submissions insuring compliant technical responses are included in the submissions prepared by customer service team.
- Visit customers within the region to determine specific product demand, identify and develop sales opportunities.
- Collaborating with marketing and business development teams to generate high quality sales leads
- Liaise with PLMs within Company plants to develop and provide customer feedback on product opportunities.
- Support sales team with customer visits within the region to deliver appropriate and up to date product presentations.
- Support customers with training and field assistance.
We expect candidates to meet requirements below.
- 3 years experience in telecommunications, private network, or an associated industry
- Diploma/Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering
- Solid knowledge of the telecommunications and private network market place with understanding of technology trends and practices
- Willingness to travel frequently at short notice.
