PERSOLKELLY Indonesia is currently assisting one of our clients that is looking for Mandarin Translator/Interpreter that will be placed in Jakarta. Below are the criteria:
Job Description:
- Read the given material and research industry-specific terminology
- Convert text and audio recordings from one language to one or more others
- Ensure translated content conveys original meaning and tone
- Cross-reference specialized dictionaries and translation tools to check quality of translation
- Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy
- Follow up with internal team members to ensure translation their needs
- Network with field experts to stay current on new translation tools and practices
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor\'s Degree, preferably in Mandarin Literature/Language (graduated from China university would be great advantage)
- At least 1 year working experience as a Translator, Interpreter or similar role
- Fluency in Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia. English will be plus point
- Have HSK certification, preferably HSK 5 or above
- Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
- Good knowledge of content editing tools
- Time-management skills
- Good in translation and interpreting
